Seventh place in the final Production classification of the New Zealand Rally – sixth stage in the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) – was the well-deserved reward for the Red Bull Rally Team pilot’s performance in his fifth participation in a World race.

After finishing two stages of the New Zealand Rally – sixth race of the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC), - the Red Bull Rally Team pilot occupies 8th position in the general Production classification. A very encouraging result for Bernardo Sousa who, despite the injury to his shoulder and his lack of experience in the New Zealand sections, has managed to earn a place on the classification table.

After the first stage, Bernardo Sousa feels at home in the car again.
The Red Bull Rally team pilot finished the first day of the New Zealand rally – sixth race of the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) – successfully. After a more eventful morning with two spins right in the first section, the afternoon went smoothly and the pilot finished the day 12th overall in the PWRC. This result made Bernardo the best Portuguese in the race.

Bernardo Sousa kam heute zum ersten Mal in Kontakt mit der Rennstrecke in Neuseeland – dem sechsten Rennen in der Production Rallye World Championship (PWRC) – während dem 3.08 km langen Funktionstest heute Morgen. Er ist zufrieden mit der Leistung des Wagens und enthusiastisch über die Strecke. Der Red Bull Rallye Team Pilot zeigt, dass er in der zweimonatigen Absenz während seiner Schulterverletzung überhaupt nicht „eingerostet“ ist.

Der Red Bull Rallye Team Pilot kehrt in den PWRC zurück
Bernardo Sousa ist zurück in der Production World Rallye Championship (PWRC). Nach Schweden, Argentinien, Griechenland und der Türkei ist die nächste Station Neuseeland, wo zwischen dem 29. und 31. August das sechste Rennen stattfindet. Nach seiner Schulterverletzung, die ihn daran hinderte, an der finnischen Rallye teilzunehmen, ist er noch immer etwas eingeschränkt und sein einziges Ziel ist es, dieses nächste Rennen zu beenden, ohne sich auf die Resultate zu konzentrieren.
