 Despite the injury to his shoulder, the pilot finished the second day amongst the Top Ten
After finishing two stages of the New Zealand Rally – sixth race of the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC), - the Red Bull Rally Team pilot occupies 8th position in the general Production classification. A very encouraging result for Bernardo Sousa who, despite the injury to his shoulder and his lack of experience in the New Zealand sections, has managed to earn a place on the classification table.

UNEVENTFUL START IN NEW ZEALAND |

After the first stage, Bernardo Sousa feels at home in the car again.
The Red Bull Rally team pilot finished the first day of the New Zealand rally – sixth race of the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) – successfully. After a more eventful morning with two spins right in the first section, the afternoon went smoothly and the pilot finished the day 12th overall in the PWRC. This result made Bernardo the best Portuguese in the race.

Bernardo Sousa ready to compete
Bernardo Sousa came into contact with the New Zealand rally sections for the first time today – sixth race in the Production Rally World Championship (PWRC) – during the 3.08 km morning shakedown. Satisfied with the car’s performance and enthusiastic over the track, the Red Bull Rally Team pilot guarantees that his absence for nearly two months due to his shoulder injury hadn’t made him “rusty”.

Red Bull Rally Team Pilot returns to the PWRC
Bernardo Sousa is back to the famous scenarios of the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC). After Sweden, Argentina, Greece and Turkey, it’s now New Zealand where the sixth stage of the World race takes place between the 29th and 31st of August. With some physical limitations due to his shoulder injury that prevented him from participating in the Finnish Rally, Bernardo’s sole objective is to finish this next challenge without concentrating on results.
